CWC Board Members
Effective January 1, 2010, Assembly Bill No. 735 changed the composition of the
California Wheat Commission Board. The Bill reduced the number of
districts to 13, changed the boundaries of districts, and authorized the number
of districts to be changed by a 2/3 vote of the commission, with proper notice
provided and concurrence by the secretary to ensure proper representation by
producers.
The
Board now consists of thirteen wheat producers, two handlers, two at-large
members, and one public member -- each with alternates.
