2005 -2007 Crop Disaster Program Enacted On Friday, May 25, the President signed HR 2206 into law, enacting a 2005 - 2007 Disaster Program (2007 losses must have occurred before February 28, 2007), Livestock Compensation Program (LCP), Livestock Indemnity Program (LIP) and extension of the MILC-X program. Before sign-up can be announced, language in the Bill must be translated into FSA program regulations, procedure must be written and approved, new forms must be created and approved and software must be written, tested and approved. If you feel you may have 2005 - 2007 qualifying losses, please contact your local FSA office (Nathan Bohl in Yolo County, 530-662-3986 x 109), so that they may contact you when sign-up is announced. |
